If anyone is following this, sorry for the absence, it was the dreaded Las Vegas weekend. If you are following anything you would like to add would be great...OK, heres how the weekend went with respects to body for life. Food intake was below average. I didn't eat even close to enough, and when I ate it wasn't always healthy choices. No excuses here, I did it. The worse day food wise I had was on Saturday. My friend Doug and I went to the Rio buffet, Dougs choice....I had 2 plates of food. Stayed away from deep fried stuff, had crab, duck, shrimp, and some bad stuff, but nothing horrible. Here's where I went off, it was the deserts. The cheesecake was the best thing I have ever had. All in all, made about seven trips. One of the new things I have aquired since I have given up alchohal is sweets. Oh well, chalk it up to a cheat day. I did however walk, and did I walk. I have an app on my phone that tracks what I do. One walk was from the Riviera to Freemont. Was 5.5 miles, took over an hour. Another walk was along the strip, my phone ran out of charge so I didn't get exact millage. I am betting around the same 5-6 miles. Was from Maldalay Bay to Harris, but it wasnt a straight shot, lots of exploring in there. I had planned on visiting a 24 hour fitness when I was there to get my scheduled lower body work out, didn't happen, again, no excuse. Say today 4-29 I did both upper and lower body workouts at the gym. Tomorrow back on track with cardio. I am getting higher and higher with the weight of the workouts. Makes me want more. The best part is sets 4 and 5. 4 being the higher weight, doing 6 reps, then with no rest set 5, which is a lower weight 12 reps. This always gets me to a 10. Starting doing my with my abs. The BFL is vague on the ab workouts, was watching someones technique at the gym today with the sit up machine, tried it, worked very well. Got a great burn. Today was a scheduled weigh in, decided to do it tomorrow, didn't make it to the gym till midnight. Want to weigh in around the same time I have been so far. Ok, there was my excuse, not the truth, im nervious about it...There!!! Think I will get my fat % tested tomorrow as well. Its been almost a month, think its time, see where I am at. That should actually tell me more. I am certain I am building musle, so more curios about the fat loss. Will be back with the results tomorrow....
